It is one of the best known detox diets in the world. The creator of the Lemonade Diet, Stanley Burroughs created the plan to rid the body of the ill effects of a poor diet, not enough exercise and negative feelings.</p>
<p>The plan has been around for a long time - Burroughs created it in the 40's, so it obviously has lasting appeal. The plan is based around a 10 day lemon cleanse.</p>
<p>As a weight loss solution the Lemonade Diet produces fast results over its short period. Most people on it lose 2 pounds a day.</p>

<p>As the title suggests, <strong><em>Flat Belly Diet </em></strong>specifically aims to reduce the fat on your belly. To tackle this problem the <em><strong>Flat Belly Diet</strong></em> utilizes the latest in scientific research which proves that Monounsaturated fatty acids help dieters to lose weight, particularly around their stomachs.</p>
<p>Monounsaturated fats (MUFA), commonly known as 'good fats' are found in foods such as avocados and nuts. It is also the main constituent of things such as olive oil and tea seed oil. Mediterranean cuisine is well known for using olive oil, whilst tea seed oil is an important part of a great deal of Asian cuisine. Monounsaturated fats are also found in lesser concentrations in foods such as oatmeal, which many people will instantly recognize as a healthy option.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The DASH diet can help reduce elevated blood pressure, and can also reduce the risk of developing high blood pressure in the first place. DASH stands for "Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension".</p>
<p>DASH is based on clinical results which show that a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, and some low fat dairy, helps to reduce elevated blood pressure. DASH also focuses on reducing the amount off saturated fat and cholesterol consumed by the individual. An increased emphasis is placed on whole grains, fish and poultry instead of things such as red meat and sugary drinks.</p>
<p>Interestingly there is a second study called DASH-Sodium. This examined the effects of a reduced sodium intake on blood pressure. The results clearly showed that a reduced sodium intake combine with a DASH diet lowered blood pressure. Overall the best effect was to be had by following the DASH diet along with a reduced sodium intake.</p>
<p>The DASH concept could clearly be combined with a <a href="http://bigbreakfastdiet.com"><strong>big breakfast diet</strong></a> with the end goal of both weight loss and lower blood pressure.<br />

<p>Dr. Eric Berg's principle tenet is that you must get your body healthy to lose weight. This is the reverse of what most diets traditionally stress. He also stresses that the no pain no gain approach to dieting is not the only way to lose weight. Indeed he suggest that this approach is deeply unhelpful to most people.</p>
<p>Within The 7 principles of Fat Burning, Dr. Berg categorises 4 different body types. It is his contention that diets should be tailored to these different body-types and their associated needs.  By doing so he suggests that weight will not only come of faster, but also stay off - which is the holy grail for most dieters.</p>
<p>Berg goes on to stress the point that the dieter should be looking to increase their body's health. By doing so he says that weight loss will occur naturally. Berg contends that obesity is a sign of an unhealthy body holding on to untapped energy reserves. He says that we should look to work smarter, rather than harder, in order to get rid of this excess.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Daniela Jakubowicz, of the Hospital de Clinicas in Caracas, Venezuela is a leading exponent of the <a href="http://bigbreakfastdiet.com"><strong>big breakfast diet</strong></a> as a tool to combat obesity.</p>
<p>Indeed, Dr. Jakubowicz has used such a diet with great success for 15 years. </p>
<p>Her work has come to attention in recent weeks due to her poresentation at the Endocrine Society's annual meeting in San Francisco. During the meeting she presented her findings of an 8 month study that targeted 94 obese, inactive women. </p>
<p>Alongside colleagues based in the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Dr.Jakubowicz  compared a high-carb and protein "big breakfast" diet with a traditional low-carb offering. Both diets were low calorie and low fat, but differed in thei carbohydrate content.</p>
<p>Dr. Jakubowicz found that after 8 months the big breakfast diet subjects had lost an average of 21 percent of their body weights. The low-carb group in comparison lost a mere 4.5 percent. </p>
<p>What is startling is that up until 4 months both groups had had similars weight losses, but after that point the big breakfast group continued to lose weight, whilst the low-carbohydrate group started to put weight back on.</p>

<p>A good example of a big breakfast stlye diet is 'The Reverse Diet', which has received a lot of press since Dr Jakubowiczs' results were announced.<br />

<p>There is also the problem of being short of time. There's often a lot to do in the mornings, and one can't always set aside the time to make a proper big breakfast.</p>
<p>An idea might be to prepare a few boiled eggs the night before, and refrigerate them so they are ready to eat in the morning.</p>
<p>In order to east the 600 or so calories recommended for a <a href="http://bigbreakfastdiet.com"><strong>big breakfast diet</strong></a>, one might also eat some sort of specialized healthy breakfast bar and perhaps a piece of fruit.</p>
<p>These types of bars are also handy during the day to eat as a meal. A high protein bar makes an ideal light evening meal.</p>

<p>The study found that people who ate 2 eggs for breakfast stayed fuller for longer due to the protein. The study went on to show that people who ate a bagel for breakfast were not only hungrier sooner, but also went on to consume a lot more calories throughout the day. Researacher concluded that the </p>
<blockquote><p>egg-breakfast induced greater satiety and significantly reduced short-term food intake</p></blockquote>

<blockquote><p>The protein in eggs helps adults build and preserve muscle strength and allows them to feel full longer and stay energized, which contributes to maintaining a healthy weight.</p></blockquote>
<p>Just one normal sized egg can provide 6 grams of protein. This is 12% of the Recommended Daily Value. Egg protein is the most complete food protein available (only breast milk beats it).</p>
<p>If you choose omega-3 enriched eggs you can also boost your intake of healthy fats.</p>
